Macarthur Heights Community Group Incorporated (MHCG) is a volunteer-led not-for-profit incorporated association representing residents and property owners of Macarthur Heights, NSW. MHCG operates under a constitution registered with NSW Fair Trading under the Associations Incorporation Act 2009 (NSW). Everyone who lives in Macarthur Heights is welcome to be part of it.

Our Not-for-Profit Status is Now Confirmed

Macarthur Heights Community Group has officially become a registered not-for-profit incorporated association under the Associations Incorporation Act 2009 (NSW). Our updated constitution and not-for-profit objects were registered with NSW Fair Trading today (Reference: 26‑21871), following the special resolution passed by members at our Annual General Meeting on 30 August 2026. This is a significant milestone for our community group.

MHCG is a grassroots community group created by residents, for residents. We organise activities, share information and give neighbours an easy way to connect, help each other and shape the future of Macarthur Heights together.

Our status

MHCG's not-for-profit status is now confirmed

MHCG's change of objects and constitution was registered by NSW Fair Trading, effective 8 September 2026, under reference 26-21871. The updated constitution establishes MHCG's not-for-profit community purposes and applies to the association from that date.

This registration does not mean that contributions are tax-deductible. MHCG is not represented as a registered charity or Deductible Gift Recipient unless separately endorsed by the Australian Taxation Office.

Contributions are voluntary and are NOT tax-deductible. No contribution is required to participate in the community or attend MHCG activities.

Help with a BBQ, deliver flyers, set up for events or share your skills. Any amount of time helps.

Support us if you'd like

If you're able, you can make a voluntary contribution of $25 per household per year to help fund events and local projects. It's completely optional — taking part in the community is what matters most.
